CODIA (Code Optimization, Development & Intelligence Automation) is a Canadian AI development consultancy based in Mississauga, Ontario. We build production-ready AI systems for Canadian businesses.

2. Applicable Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation. All personal information is stored and processed within Canada.

3. Information We Collect

We collect only the personal information necessary to provide our services:

  • Contact form submissions: name, email address, company name, message content
  • Analytics: anonymized page views and session data (if GA is enabled)
  • Communications: emails you send to hello@codia.ca

We do not use cookies for advertising. We do not sell personal information.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide requested services
  • To send you project-related communications
  • To improve our website (anonymized analytics only)

5. Data Residency

All data submitted through this website is stored and processed in Canada on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure located in the northamerica-northeast2 (Toronto) region. We do not transfer your personal data outside of Canada without explicit consent.

6. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for 2 years from the date of submission, then permanently deleted. Email communications are retained for the duration of our business relationship plus 1 year.

7. Your Rights Under PIPEDA

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Withdraw consent to the collection or use of your information
  • Make a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, and access controls to protect your personal information.
